Mine Mk 60. Encapsulated Torpedo. CAPTOR.  Air, surface, or submarine launched. Vertically moored, its
acoustic sensors listen for a target having the correct frequency,  strength and duration, then it pings on the
target to establish that the target is still within kill range. If all requirements are correct CAPTOR then opens
its hatch   and fires a MK 46 Acoustic Homing Torpedo that circles  and acquires its target then homes in for
the kill. The 100 lb PBXN 103 warhead is capable of causing damage and or destruction to  submarines.
