 This is to bring everyone up to speed about my pending surgery. I recently had a CAT scan which revealed two aneurysms; one in my right thigh (the iliac artery) and the other smaller one (the abdominal artery) near my right kidney. I have just spoken to the surgeon and we have set up the surgery for March 21. The doctor has decided, after consultation with others, to repair the aneurysm in the thigh and keep an eye on the one near the kidney at this time. He indicated that the surgery would be in the morning, remain over night and go home the next day. For those who are not aware, I had an aortic aneurysm repaired in January 1993 which remains operational with no ill effects. I ask that you will keep me in your prayers.
